Anthony Martial has been told his time at Manchester United is over amid controversy over the fact he stormed straight down the tunnel after being substituted against Bournemouth.
The Frenchman was handed a start against the Cherries after getting himself on the scoresheet during last weekend's win over Wolves. United took the lead early via an acrobatic effort from Casemiro inside the opening 10 minutes, but Martial lasted just 60 before he was replaced by Wout Weghorst.
The forward's face as he made his way off the pitch was quite the picture, with Martial looking particularly bemused after seeing his number up on the fourth official's board. He then proceeded to head straight down the tunnel, which sparked talk of a rift with manager Erik ten Hag.
However, the United boss has already played down the issue and revealed Martial did return to the bench.
"I think he played well, he returned to the bench, he’s OK,’ Ten Hag explained. "I think he just shot into the dressing room, I don’t know what you want to make from it."
While Ten Hag seems unbothered by the situation, Martial has been told he should head for the Old Trafford exit in the summer by United legend Dwight Yorke.

Speaking to Lord Ping, Yorke made clear how he feels about Martial's long-term prospects at United and addressed the former Monaco man's loan spell at Sevilla.
"Martial has been here for seven years now, he's looked good in spells and was very promising," the former United ace explained.
"But you can't be going on loan at the age of 26 or 27, that's for people who are 21-years-old or younger. Once Martial went on loan, that should have indicated that his time is done at the club, like how it did when Jesse Lingard went on loan.
"When you go on loan and come back, you don't come back the same, not at that age."
Martial has had a difficult season in front of goal, netting five times across 19 league appearances. Despite this, United are on course to secure their place in the Champions League next season.
The Red Devils' victory against Bournemouth means that one point from the final two games is all that is required before United's return to the European elite is confimed.
Martial's contract at Old Trafford expires next year, meaning this summer presents the last realistic chance United have to cash in on the Frenchman.
