Anthony Joshua has officially split with Robert Garcia as the Brit prepares to work with another new coach for his next fight.
Former two-time heavyweight champion Joshua, 33, partnered with Garcia after failing to win back his unified titles against Oleksandr Usyk in August. 'AJ' parted ways with longtime trainer Rob McCracken after first losing to Usyk in September of last year and linked up with Garcia for the rematch.
In his quest to get back in the winning column for the first time in over two years, 'AJ' has ditched Garcia after just one fight and will work with a new coach in America. Joshua's promoter Eddie Hearn confirmed the news but refused to reveal the new trainer, insisting that he wants to let 'AJ' make the announcement in his own time.
