Robert Garcia made several trips back and forth to the UK earlier this year to train Anthony Joshua ahead of his rematch with Oleksandr Usyk.
Joshua parted ways with longtime trainer Robert McCracken after his heavyweight title loss to Usyk last September. The former two-time champion will now work with Angel Fernandez and Garcia for his rematch with Usyk later this year.
Garcia is an accomplished coach who has guided brother Mikey and now-retired Marcos Maidana to several world titles. Although Garcia recently arrived in the UK to coach Joshua, Eddie Hearn revealed the trainer has already made several trips across the pond.
