"I'll be ready in December"- the words that boxing fans have been waiting to hear for a long time, Anthony Joshua has accepted a fight against Tyson Fury in principle, at least.
'The Battle Of Britain' as it has been dubbed, will hopefully see the long-awaited clash between two boxing icons finally come to fruition. It has been the subject of casual boxing chatter for a number of years now, and it seems the reality could be moving closer.
After reports emerged that Oleksandr Usyk doesn't want to fight Fury until next year, 'The Gypsy King' offered Joshua the chance to fight him for the WBC world heavyweight title.

Despite Joshua's loss to Usyk a few weeks ago, it seems the hype for this bout has not died down. Tyson's call-out video garnered almost 2 million views, and the social media reaction has been huge.
Joshua later accepted the offer on Twitter, saying he'll be "ready in December". He did, however, suggest Fury speaks to his management about the finer details.
The pair were initially meant to face off last year, before the fight was eventually called off with Fury having to face Deontay Wilder for a third time instead.
Since then, Joshua has lost twice to Usyk, whilst Fury has made two successful world title defences. Had Fury and Usyk gone ahead, it would have made the victor the first undisputed world heavyweight champion since Lennox Lewis in 1999.
However, there are a number of barriers that could prevent 'The Battle Of Britain' from taking place, and the biggest one is television deals.
Joshua penned a deal with broadcaster DAZN in June this year, which means his fights will be broadcast on the channel in future. Fury's fights however, are synonymous with BT Sport.
