Dunking on San Antonio Spurs rookie phenom Victor Wembanyama might seem like a tall task, but Los Angeles Lakers forward Anthony Davis was up to the task on Wednesday night.
On a truly jaw-dropping play, Davis drove the ball to the basket and slammed it over Wembanyama’s head for the dunk.
The 7-foot-4 Wembanyama is the NBA’s tallest player by a decent margin, definitely standing over the 6-foot-10 Davis. However, Davis didn’t let that stop him from making one of the most impressive dunks of the season so far.
Like, c’mon, even if you’re the world’s biggest Lakers hater, this is just stunning.

Not many players in the NBA are going to be able to dunk on the towering Wembanyama, but Davis rose to the occasion and put down one of the coolest highlights of the year for Los Angeles.
Sometimes, it just takes one good leap and a lot of determination to make a moment like this happen. Davis definitely won this round.
