Ant McPartlin takes savage dig at Simon Cowell during Britain's Got Talent semi-final

Ant McPartlin hilariously mocked judge Simon Cowell during a live Britain's Got Talent show - and viewers were left amused.

During Tuesday night's semi-final, Geordie star Ant teased Simon about his struggle to drink through a straw on the previous night. On Monday, Simon was seen watching the stage while going to take a sip of his drink, before moving his glass around in a circle.

Trying to locate the straw with his mouth, while not paying attention, he kept missing it and proceeded to move his drink around in circles before finally taking a drink. The moment did not go unnoticed by baffled viewers who asked what was going on, and on Tuesday night it was brought to Simon's attention.

Ant decided to mock Simon live on the ITV show, as he pretended to show him how to use a straw. Taking his drink from the desk, he then handed it back to him while holding the straw and said: "Simon there's your straw. Do you know how to use it? Pop it in your mouth, drink."

Amanda Holden was heard screaming with laughter, while Ant and Dec were also amused by the joke, reports The Mirror. Later in the show, Simon asked: "What was going on with my straw last night?"

Ant wasted no time in quipping: "You tell us... I don't think it was the straw, I think it was what’s in the glass..."

Amused by the moment, one viewer tweeted: "Ant telling Simon how to use a straw," as another said: "Not the straw."
