A Newcastle restaurant worker was left stunned when she bumped into Ant McPartlin in Primark.
Tiegan Scott had nipped into Primark on Northumberland Street to pick up some work uniform just before 12pm on Friday (June 23) and came face-to-face with the famous presenter at the store's entrance.
Wearing a cap and dark jacket, the 'Saturday Night Takeaway' presenter cut a low-key figure during his solo visit to the city centre. However, Tiegan, 26, immediately spotted him as she walked into Primark at the same time as the Geordie star.

Tiegan, who works at Insieme Restaurant on Westgate Road, told Chronicle Live that she asked Ant to pose for a photograph with a random shopper as she was "in no state" to have her picture taken.
Praising Ant for being so down to earth, Tiegan said: "I was going into Primark at the same time as him.
"I was in buying work uniform so I was in no state to get a picture with him. I just said, 'Can I take a photo of you and someone else so I can send it to my mam?'
"He just laughed a little bit when I said I didn't want a picture with him! He was talking to people lovely.
"There weren't too many people that recognised him and I think it was because he was completely by himself.
"It was just bizarre seeing him, as when you see someone from TV you expect them to have even just one person with them, but Ant was on his own.
"I felt he was trying to stay low key so I didn't want to overwhelm him. I think he was just nipping in for something quick.
"He seemed lovely. He seemed happy talking to people and he seemed really down to earth.
"I text my dad and said, 'I have seen Ant and he said, 'Where, Fenwicks? and I said, 'No, Primark!'"
