Ant McPartlin has debuted a huge new tattoo as he prepares to head back to the Australian jungle when I’m A Celebrity…Get Me Out of Here! returns on Sunday.
Fans got a flash of the 46-year-old Geordie TV star’s latest inking on a reel posted to his and co-host Declan Donnelly’s joint Instagram account.
The tatt is located on his forearm and appears to be a tribute to the late singer John Lennon, as it is a replica of the black and white floor memorial to The Beatles star, which can be found in Central Park in New York.
In the centre of the tattoo is the words “Imagine” – the title of one of the musical icon’s most famous songs.
McPartlin is not a stranger to going under the needle, with his bodyart collection also including one in tribute of his wife Anne Marie, and a second, marking his sobriety.
The latest series of I’m A Celebrity marks the first time that the show has been able to film in Australian due to Covid-19 pandemic.
Confirmed to be taking part this year are several soap and reality stars, including Coronation Street actress Sue Cleaver, Hollyoaks’ Owen Warner, and Love Islander Olivia Attwood.
Former A Place in the Sun host Scarlette Douglas, Culture Club singer Boy George, Loose Women and ITV News’s Charlene White, politician Matt Hancock and radio host Chris Moyles have also signed on.
While England football star Jill Scott, Royal ex-England rugby ace Mike Tindall and comedian Babatunde Aléshé complete the 2022 line-up.
