Ant McPartlin and Declan Donnelly took home the BAFTA gong for best Entertainment Programme on Sunday evening for their hit ITV show Saturday Night Takeaway.
As the Geordie duo won the coveted award, Ant, 46, sweetly shared a kiss with wife Anne-Marie Corbett in the audience before walking on stage to collect the award.
Ant, who married Anne-Marie in 2021, admitted alongside his I'm A Celebrity host that the pair were surprised to win the gong for another year running.
Ant and Dec were up against An Audience with Adele, Life & Rhymes and Strictly Come Dancing in the category.
Speaking after their win, Ant said on stage: “Thank you, thanks very much. What a great start to the night!” while Dec added: “Wow!"
He continued: "What a thrill, we were convinced we weren't going to get it this year so we just came for a bit of a party, so this is wonderful!"
To which co-host Stephen Mulhern hilariously joined in with: "Thank you, guys!" as Ant replied: "We'll get to you, we'll get to you!"
Dec added: "This is a really wonderful cherry on the cake!"
The great and the good of the small screen took to the red carpet on Sunday for the 2022 BAFTA Awards.
Comedian and actor Richard Ayoade played BAFTAs host for the third year running, with George Ezra performing live on the red carpet.
A plethora of famous faces were on hand to hand out the awards, including the likes of Olivia Colman, Tom Daley and the Sex Education star Ncuti Gatwa, who has been named as Jodie Whittaker’s successor in Doctor Who.
Martin Freeman, Lee Mack, Katie Piper, Ross Kemp and Rochelle Humes also presented awards on the night.
Channel 4 drama It’s A Sin, about a group of friends during the 1980s Aids crisis, lead the nominations going into the night, up for 11 gongs, including Best Drama and Best Mini-Series. Lead star Olly Alexander was nominated for Best Actor and Lydia West was up for Best Actress.
But she faced tough competition from the likes of Jodie Comer, who received a nod for her role in care home drama Help, and Kate Winslet for her role in Mare of Easttown.
Years and Years singer Olly Alexander, who is nominated for best actor for his role in the series, faced stiff competition from the likes of David Thewlis and Stephen Graham, nominated for their roles in Help and BBC prison drama Time.
ITV ’s An Audience With Adele and Ant & Dec’s Saturday Night Takeaway battled it out with BBC’s Strictly Come Dancing for Best Entertainment programme - with the former coming out on top.
