Ant McPartlin smashed his head off a coconut at a Britain's Got Talent audition and needed to be bandaged up by medics.
The ITV host was seen splitting his forehead open in an unseen clip of the popular show which was released on Thursday.
The footage showed the star standing next to co-presenter Declan Donnelly at the side of the stage as a hopeful performed for the judges.
There was a large amount of fruit on some tables and Ant then grabbed one and tried to smash it open with his hands.
He then hit it off his forehead to try and open it, but didn't realise he was bleeding until Dec pointed it out.
A first aid team was then brought out to attend to the TV favourite.
Ant had no idea he was bleeding until Dec pointed out the injury.
As he punched the coconut, Ant gave a warning to anyone watching him: "Do not punch coconuts kids, it really hurts. I think I nearly broke my knuckle."
After tapping it against his head, he said: "Why did you say forehead? Because I was bound to try..."
Dec then told him he had cut his head.
Ant pointed behind the camera and told someone behind the scenes: "How irresponsible are you?"
The medic had a laugh with the injured telly personality, and told him he'd need to change his dressing every day for the next three weeks.
Ant asked: "When do I change this? When I get home?", to which the medic replied: "Yes, a new one every day for three weeks."
"For three weeks?!", Ant exlaimed.
Ant saw the funny side of his minor injury, proclaiming: "This is very extreme for a little tap on the forehead."
The medic then left the stage after patting Ant on the head, which led to him replying: "Well don't tap it, medic!"
Ant then attempted to break more coconuts.
Viewers have been delighted to see the return of BGT after it was off air due to coronavirus restrictions last year.
The ITV show has come under scrutiny however and faced backlash over "fix" claims by some who who tuned into the final act that appeared in the latest episode last Saturday.
The second round of auditions featured singers, dancers and even an impressionist, who boasted their talents for Simon Cowell - but they clearly saved the most intense for last.
Simon quickly figured out the act when he saw Andrew Basso emerge on stage in front of a huge glass box.
The Italian explained the history of the water stunt, known as the Chinese Water Torture Cell, mentioning the Hungarian-American escape artist Harry Houdini, before inviting Amanda Holden up on stage to cuff him.
Andrew highlighted that the stunt would turn dangerous at the two minute mark as he held his breath under water.
But as the clock ticked away and Andrew picked at the handcuffs with a pin, even hosts Ant McPartlin and Declan Donnelly began to look nervous.
"I don't like it!" Dec remarked, before adding: "He's run out of music!"
The judges looked just as panicked as Alesha Dixon asked: "Is this part of the act?" and David Walliams replied: "I don't know..."
As the clock went past the three minute mark, Andrew emerged from the water as he gasped for breath and everyone sighed with relief.
However, viewers were not convinced that the stunt had been as dangerous as BGT made out and took to Twitter to comment.
One person posted: "If that wasn’t staged, the crew would have rushed on to get him out… it’s embarrassing how fake this show is #bgt #BritainsGotTalent."
Another tweeted: "How many times have these acts been done seriously?. It’s so predictable like this wouldn’t be shown if he ends up dying trapped in a water tank! #BGT."
Britain's Got Talent returns to ITV on Saturday at 8pm.
