Ant McPartlin and wife Anne-Marie enjoy cute date at the F1 races ahead of anniversary

Ant McPartlin and wife Anne-Marie Corbett were spotted enjoying a cute date at the F1 races over the weekend.

The couple couldn’t stop smiling as they got a sneak peek inside the Red Bull racing garage ahead of the Silverstone F1 Grand Prix on Saturday.

Wearing matchy outfits Ant, 47, posed for snaps with Anne-Marie, 45, as they appeared to get A-list access at the event.

Their joint outing comes as Ant and Anne-Marie prepare to celebrate their second wedding anniversary on August 7.

Stars including Ant’s best pal Declan Donnelly, Cat Deeley, Frank and Christine Lampard and Dermot O’Leary turned out for the lavish event in 2021.

The ceremony was held St Michael’s Church in Hampshire, followed by a posh reception at Heckfield Place hotel, where guests staying over also received spa treatments.

Ant is rumoured to have splashed out a whopping £500,000 on the special day - £100,000 of which was just on accommodation for his 100 guests.

There was also plenty of free-flowing champagne on the day, luxury catering, beautiful floral displays and Anne-Marie's stunning wedding dress to shell out for.

The couple hired a £300,000 Rolls Royce to ferry them around on the big day. At the reception, guests enjoyed a performance from Abba tribute band Bjorn Again.

Ant’s huge bill included room service, 90 minute massages which cost £180 a pop, plus manicures and pedicures for each guest, which he shelled out £100 each for.

There were also reiki sessions on offer, costing £125, which is described as a "physical, emotional and spiritual treatment" which "aids the body's natural healing process and helps to develop welfare, induces deep relaxation" and is expected to improve overall wellbeing.

As well as his upcoming wedding anniversary, Ant has another reason to celebrate after it was announced him and Dec are bringing back Byker Grove nearly 20 years after the last episode aired.

The Geordie show, which shot the presenting duo to fame and launched their short-lived music career, is being revived with the new name of Byker.

It is currently in development with Fulwell 73, owned by Ben Winston and James Corden, and Mitre Studios.

Viewers will see a whole host of new teenagers as they tackle everyday challenges which reflect on the real world, as well as touching on youth and adult storylines.

Ant and Dec will serve as executive producers and creative consultants of the new series.

Ant said: "We owe such a lot to Byker Grove and the North East so we can’t wait to start working with Fulwell 73 and the team to bring this iconic series back to life.

"Already talking characters and storylines has us all buzzing at the possibilities ahead.

"The original series was the starting point for a lot of North East talent so we’re excited to see what the new team will bring."
