Ant and Dec's Saturday Night Takeaway kicked off a new series with a heartwarming segment, with one audience member surprised with an emotional live on-air wedding.
Oblivious bride Vicky was surprised with her dream nuptials at the end of the first show of the new series, after Covid-19 complications had previously seen her wedding cancelled multiple times - costing her and her partner Nick £28,000.
But the live wedding didn't take place in the studios.
The pregnant bride-to-be had to brave Storm Eunice and take to the skies in a helicopter in order to make it to her surprise wedding venue in time.
Cheeky Geordie duo Ant and Dec returned to our screens on Saturday night - complete with a live studio audience - and it was business as usual on the ITV show.
At the start of the show, the TV presenters got to know the audience, pulling fan Vicky down to join them on the stage to chat about her proposed wedding plans.
Viewers learned how the bride-to-be had seen her plans to walk down the aisle ruined thanks to the ongoing pandemic, with her nuptials cancelled multiple times and her venue going bust - costing her and fiancé Nick £28,000.
The cameras then cut to a live video link of groom-to-be Nicki - who Vicky had thought was in Miami - revealing a very big secret.
As he got down on one knee once again, Vicky was informed how Nick was in fact at a dreamy wedding venue in the U.K - with all their friends and family - and was ready and waiting to tie the knot with her that very night.
"We've been secretly planning with Nick and your bridesmaids for the last few month and pulled out all the stops to get you everything from your original wedding wishes," Ant told a surprised and shocked Vicky.
Dec added how her dream wedding dress was waiting for her, alongside all the guests from her list, and other important details.
"The only thing missing is you," Ant told Vicky, as she processed the incredible news.
"The problem is, you've only got around 45 mins to get there," he added, as the cameras panned to a shot of a Saturday Night Takeaway branded helicopter.
Clearly shocked and surprised, Vicky accepted the challenge and made her way outside of the studio to make her journey to her impending nuptials.
Before she embarked on her mission, Ant and Dec presented the bride-to-be with a cheeky gift - a personalised bouquet complete with a couple of snaps of their cheeky faces included.
After Vicky left the studios, the presenters kept checking in on her journey - at one point visiting the bride-to-be enjoying a "hen do in the skies" with two of her pals.
"Guessing they planned this helicopter to the wedding before storm Eunice… #SaturdayNightTakeaway," one fan tweeted, as Vicky and her bridesmaids braved the skies.
Thankfully, Vicky's helicopter ride ended safely and the pregnant bride-to-be was greeted by her father, who whisked her away in a stunning white Rolls Royce.
After viewers watched Ant and Dec prank Jeremy Clarkson on his beloved Diddly Squat farm, it was time to see Vicky and Nick finally tie the knot.
Viewers - and the presenters - were moved as the happy couple became husband and wife live on-air.
The live studio audience cheered as Vicky and Nick finally managed to tie the knot, after years of setbacks, and begin their married life thanks to the help of Ant and Dec.
"Whooping and cheering at the #SaturdayNightTakeaway wedding like they’re my own real life friends," one fan tweeted as the happy couple exchanged vows.
Another added: "#SaturdayNightTakeaway aww how beautiful. I bloody love a wedding and wasn't she just stunning! What a gorgeous dress!"
"I’m telling everyone I went to a wedding at the weekend after that #SaturdayNightTakeaway," a third joked.
