Ant and Dec say 'we've been stitched up' as they hit Universal ahead of special ITV Saturday Night Takeaway episode

Ant McPartlin and Dec Donnelly have claimed they've been 'stitched up' as they hit the theme park ahead of a special edition of Saturday Night Takeaway. The presenting pair have jetted to Orlando, Florida with a bunch of lucky viewers for a week-long stay at Universal.

Throughout the latest run of their hit ITV series, Ant and Dec have once again been giving away 'places on the plane' to unsuspecting audience members and viewers watching at home ahead of hosing their final show at the theme park and entertainment resort. It is the first time the pair have been able to present the show from the exciting location due to the coronavirus pandemic.

At the end of last Saturday night's show, viewers were transported back to the noughties and then on to Florida as reunited band Busted performed the End of the Show Show. Just days after Year 3000 singers Matt Willis, Charlie Simpson and James Bourne announced that they will return to mark their 20th anniversary with a nationwide tour this autumn, the trio performed together to close the live family entertainment show.

Busted performed a medley of their hits in a fun sketch as the show's cast, crew and hosts Ant and Dec piled into a bus ready to start the journey to Florida for the final which is due to take place this Saturday night (April 8).

The Geordie duo have been pretty quiet on social media since, or at least they were until Tuesday (April 4) when they shared a snap of themselves at Universal. Ant and Dec, both 47, posed in front of the iconic Universal Studios globe outside of Universal Studios, sporting shorts and their own Hawaiian shirts.

"We’ve been stitched up here… #SaturdayNightTakeaway," they captioned the post on both Twitter and Instagram, seemingly referring tot he fact they comically failed at attempting to pose for the camera with the globe either perched in their hands of leaning up against it.

And it's made fans look forward to the upcoming show. @maisbee said: "Can't wait for the finale!!!!" @xaylaxjanex commented: "Hope you’re enjoying it, can’t wait for the show Saturday." @hayley.martin.771 shared: "Cant wait for the show it's going to be a good one as always xo."

@paula.j.ward.1 replied: "Awww wish I was there with you both and all the lucky place on the plane winners! Although the weather here at the moment is pretty special. Enjoy! Look forward to watching you on Saturday night." @acekamran added: "So happy for you to be back there!! hope it’s a good one, will be watching with envy from the UK."
