Ant and Dec had some big news for the I'm A Celebrity camp at the end of Friday's episode, with an unexpected twist that none of them saw coming, as the hosts told them all to get ready to go to the trial clearing.
It still hasn't been a full week since the much loved ITV show made its return to screens and its highly anticipated return to Australia, after a three years away. Ant and Dec are at the helm once again and have been overseeing a hectic first week on I'm A Celebrity, which has seen Olivia Attwood forced to quit and former Health Secretary Matt Hancock go into the jungle as a late arrival.
Hancock has been given a baptism of fire by both his campmates and people at home, with viewers now voting him to do three trials in a row and his co-stars giving him an interrogation over his Covid 'rule break' and handling of the pandemic. A more light-hearted moment from Friday's episode of I'm A Celeb saw Hancock take on the eating trial with Boy George, with the unlikely duo winning 11 stars for camp.

And, as expected, given that he's tipped to break I'm A Celeb trial records, Hancock found out he'd been selected to do another trial as Ant and Dec revealed the latest results of the public vote. Having been very vocal in his desire to do a trial, Owen Warner was chosen to join Hancock in Who Wants To Look Silly on Air?
After expressing his keenness to take part in a challenge, Hollyoaks star didn't exactly looked overjoyed when the news was revealed to him, but the rest of the camp were left delighted by Ant and Dec's closing words to them as Dec: "Get yourselves ready and we'll see you at the trials clearing a little bit later," before Dec added: "In fact, all of you, we'll see all of you at the trials clearing, as you can come and watch today," prompting cheers from the cast.
