Ant and Dec reunite for stroll along Australian beach ahead of I'm A Celebrity launch

Ant McPartlin and Declan Donnelly are making the most of their time in Australia.

Ahead of I'm a Celebrity...Get Me Out of Here! returning to our screens next week with a star-studded line-up including Boy George and Mike Tindall, the show's two hosts have been soaking up the sun and enjoying some downtime with their families before work begins.

The Geordie duo looked relaxed and happy as they enjoyed a stroll on beach together, with Ant's wife Anne-Marie joining the double act for the outing by the Australian sea.

Ant, 46, and Dec, 47, appeared deep in conversation as they both pottered along the beach in shorts and T-shirts - with both stars ditching their shoes to get some sand between their toes at one point during the stroll.

Dec arrived Down Under with wife Ali and their two children Isla, four, and three-month-old Jack earlier this week, but the Donnelly family seemingly skipped the beach outing with Dec, Anne-Marie and Ant.

Speaking as he touched down in Australia for the first time since I'm a Celebrity...Get Me Out of Here! went Down Under in 2019, Dec said: "It's good to be back. Very excited.

"I can't wait, I can't wait to get going but yeah it is just good to be back. Baby Jack and Isla are here. We have got the whole gang.

"It's a bit more stressful, you watch less movies, but it is fine, it is great and nice to be able to bring them out and have a bit of family time as well as he the series going as well."

Dec arrival at the airport came following the star's best pal and co-host Ant was snapped beaming as he and wife Anne-Marie were seen enjoying some lunch after heading to a surf shop together as they walked hand in hand alongside Coolangatta beach, in the southern part of Queensland.

The smitten pair smiled as they walked hand in hand together – with Ant wearing a pair of black sunglasses and Anne-Marie sporting a pair of aviator-style sunglasses with a brown lens and gold frame.

"You get a much better tan in New South Wales than you do Wales," Ant joked earlier this year on The One Show, as he and Dec discussed their desire for I'm a Celebrity...Get Me Out of Here to return to Australia.

After Covid-19 spread across the globe and made international travel a logistical nightmare, for the first time in the show's history, the ITV show swapped Australia for North Wales in 2020 and once again the following year.

But this year's series of I'm a Celebrity...Get Me Out of Here! will see Love Island star Olivia Attwood, Boy George and a whole host of other big names enjoy a stint in the Australian jungle, as the show returns Down Under for its 22nd series next month.

Like all the series before, the camp near the town of Murwillumbah in New South Wales the stars will be slumming it in looks a far cry from the luxury hotels and resorts they have become accustomed to over the years.

Rather than comfy beds and home comforts, the celebrities will be sharing the wilderness with a whole host of creepy crawlies and creatures of the jungle, as they attempt to win the public's affection and be crowned the new King or Queen of the Jungle.

The new series of I'm a Celebrity...Get Me Out of Here! starts on Sunday, November 6, at 9pm, with a 105 minute special, which we will see the celebs explain why they have signed up.

Ant and Dec are then poised to set a series of challenges for them to make their way into the jungle camp near the town of Murwillumbah in New South Wales.
