Ant and Dec are expected to reprise their beloved PJ and Duncan roles in an ad campaign that's set to be a flashback to the nineties.
The Geordie duo are rumoured to be making a brief return to the characters that launched their careers in an advert for Santander said to be worth £2m, The Mirror reports. They were recently spotted in West London in classic nineties baggy attire with baseball caps and matching, era-appropriate, backpacks.
It's part of their long-running advertising campaign for the bank, in which they promote the bank of Antandec (a pun on Santander). In the adverts, the real bank's offers tend to be compared favourably to the presenters' spoof ideas.

It may only be a brief return to the classic roles, but it's a flashback that might spark some nostalgia for Ant and Dec fans. The legendary TV pair, both 46, met at the age of 12 in 1989 when they began playing PJ and Duncan on ITV's Byker Grove, the show that would lead to them becoming household names.
The pair played PJ and Duncan until series five, which was recorded in 1993. It was in that series that the two characters formed a band and signed a record deal.
On leaving the show they signed one for real and released the successful debut album, 'Psyche' still under their Byker Grove pseudonyms. Their hits included 'Let's Get Ready to Rhumble' as well as 'If I Give You My Number' and 'Eternal Love'.
Saturday Night Takeaway viewers were delighted in 2020 when Ant and Dec performed Let's Get Ready to Rhumble, complete with all the song's iconic dance moves, for the show's series finale. The pair are also said to have performed a special version at Ant's wedding last year.
It's not yet known whether the hit will feature in the ad.
