Ant and Dec issued a plea to the audience at the Britain's Got Talent semi-final tonight amid frustration from ITV viewers over the crowd being "too loud" this evening.
The presenters, both 46, returned to the stage at the Eventim Apollo in Hammersmith for the last semi-final of the series earlier, ahead of the final on Sunday (June 5).
They however ended up telling the audience to be quiet because the noise levels were making it difficult to hear the feedback from the judges - with TV viewers agreeing.
Ant McPartlin was seen gesturing to the audience to quiet down, with co-presenter Dec Donnelly managing to get his voice heard after a short while of such efforts.
Calling on them to quiet down so the judges could give their feedback, Dec told the crowd: "Thank you. We're gonna run out of time and we won't be able to hear anything."
It came following the performance by dance troupe IMD Legion, with the audience's response to the act making it difficult to hear Alesha Dixon, 43, on the judging panel.
She had commented on the situation herself - moments before the presenters stepped in to address it - with her faintly heard saying: "Can't even hear myself think."

And it wasn't just the BGT hosts who were concerned about the audience being too noisy tonight, with viewers at home having expressed frustration on Twitter earlier.
One wrote: "Whilst I get they're excited, the crowd [...] are way too loud & rowdy. It's worse than watching football. Can barely hear a thing the judges / Ant & Dec are saying."
Another said the audience were "so loud," expressing hope that they would "turn down the volume." One viewer referred to them as being both "loud and hyper".
"As for that audience they need to shut the hell up. They're so bloody loud. I've had to turn the telly down! Literally cheer at anything that lot," another commented.
Another tweeted: "The audience need to shut up. You can't hear the judges critiques." Whilst one viewer said that "too much shouting and screaming drowns out the acts".
The Britain's Got Talent final will air on Sunday night (June 5) from 7.30pm on ITV and ITV Hub. You can catch-up on previous episodes now through the ITV Hub.
