NAGPUR: Things are not really going Vidarbha's way. They have one of the best batting line-ups in the Group-B of Vijay Hazare Trophy. However, they are consistently struggling to put up a united fight. In a must-win game on Saturday, Vidarbha got a good start, with a good 3rd wicket partnership too. They had things under control but they misfired when the need was to attack.
As a result, Vidarbha set a below-average target of 241 for Rajasthan, who knocked off the target with 6 wickets and 35 balls to spare at Eden Gardens, Kolkata. It was Vidarbha's third defeat in the fifth match of the tournament. With this result, all their chances of playing the knockouts are over. In all the defeats, the key take away has been lack of longer stay in the middle from the men that matter.
