As the Cleveland Browns prepare for the Philadelphia Eagles, they will be without an offensive lineman who has started three games for them this season as James Hudson III announces he has undergone shoulder surgery.
Hudson III did not play against the Washington Commanders last week after suffering a shoulder injury in the loss to the Las Vegas Raiders. He has not practiced this week either, and now it looks like he is not going to for quite some time.
Posting to his Instagram, Hudson III left this message:
“Fresh outta surgery grind starts now! Any of my guys know the works don’t stop. Appreciate the team, best docs in the world!”

Left tackle Jedrick Wills returned last week and played quite well against the Commanders. With one practice left, Jack Conklin has also practiced both times this week and may make his return to the field for the first time since Week 1 of 2023 this week against the Eagles.
They will be, however, without their swing tackle again.
