Another Georgia football DB enters the transfer portal

Georgia senior defensive back David Daniel-Sisavanh has entered the NCAA transfer portal, becoming the fourth Bulldog to do so. Wide receivers Michael Jackson III and Nitro Tuggle and cornerback Julian Humphrey have also entered the transfer portal with others expected to follow suit.

Daniel-Sisavanh spent all three seasons of his collegiate career with Georgia (2021-2023), playing in over 35 games, including several starts. During his time with the Bulldogs, he recorded 29 tackles and two pass deflections.

However, he was dismissed from the program prior to the 2024 season, following a statement from Kirby Smart at SEC media days in July. This came after multiple traffic-related incidents involving players in Athens since January 2023. In February of this year, Daniel-Sisavanh was charged with reckless driving and leading police on a chase, according to the Georgia Department of Public Safety.

A native of Woodstock, Georgia, Daniel-Sisavanh was a four-star recruit in the 2021 class and ranked No. 119 nationally.

He will look for a new home for the next college football season.
