Another four children die of Strep A as UK's death toll for under 18s reaches 30

Four more children have died from invasive Strep A, health bosses confirmed today.

New figures from the UK Health Security Agency (UKHSA) show at least 30 children in the UK have now died due to the virus.

Some 25 under-18s have died in England from the infection so far this season, dating between September 19 and December 25, the UK Health Security Agency (UKHSA) said.
