The Chicago Bears (3-12) will host the Minnesota Vikings (12-4) on Sunday, where Chicago is looking to end the 2022 season on a high note. But they’ll have to get through a Minnesota team with plenty to play for.
The Bears’ Week 18 game will air on FOX at Noon CT. The television commentators for the game are Kenny Albert (play-by-play), Jonathan Vilma (analyst) and Shannon Spake (sideline).
Chicago is coming off an embarrassing 41-10 loss to the Detroit Lions, where Matt Eberflus’ team gave up for the first time this season. The Bears were outscored 34-0 in the final three quarters.
Meanwhile, Minnesota is coming off a rough 41-17 loss to the Green Bay Packers, which cost them a chance at the No. 1 seed. But there’s still plenty to play for as the Vikings can lock down the No. 2 seed with a win and San Francisco 49ers loss.
Chicago is poised for a top-two draft pick, and they have a chance to land the No. 1 overall selection, depending on how things shake out. If the Bears lose and the Texans win, they’ll look up the top selection. If Chicago loses regardless, they can no lower than No. 2 overall. A loss could send the Bears to third or fourth overall.
