Annette Bening and her co-star Jodie Foster, who both star in the Netflix film 'Nyad,' share similar tastes and have a history of crossing paths. Despite being two of the most esteemed actresses in the industry, the two had only met in passing before working together on the project.
During a Q&A session at the Aero Theatre for the American Cinematheque, Bening expressed her initial intimidation upon hearing that Foster was being considered for a role in the film. However, Foster's interest in the project quickly won Bening over, especially after visiting Bening's home and admiring her Christmas decorations and her 130-pound Newfoundland dog.
