Peter Murphy’s Annan side will bring down the curtain on their league campaign tomorrow against champions Kelty Hearts before focusing on the play-offs.
The Galabankies take on Forfar in the promotion clashes tomorrow with venues to be decided by the final League Two table.
Murphy has another lengthy casualty list to contend with after playing a patched up team against Edinburgh City last Friday night.
And he looks certain to include himself on the bench for a second game in a row.
Murphy said: “I was on the bench against City because we had so many players out injured.
“Matty Douglas and Steven Swinglehurst had knocks and Owen Moxon is out of this weekend’s game plus a couple more including Cameron Clark.
“It’s not a good time to pick up injuries going into the play-offs.
“We are taking on the champions in our last game, but I cannot wait for the
play-offs next week.
“At this stage it is about just getting the players back fit.
“I have been playing younger players because we have a lot in our squad.”
Murphy has been busy off the park persuading players to stay at the club including keeper Greg Fleming plus Roan Steele.
He said: “We are trying to do a little bit of business before the season ends.
“The last time I was in the play-off final a couple of days later three players left, so I am trying to sign guys up now to avoid the same position.”
