Annan chief Peter Murphy is demanding his players turn around their form when they face Stenhousemuir tomorrow.
He wants an away day win after the Galabankies were hammered 5-1 at Elgin City last weekend and slumped to second bottom in the League Two table.
However, Murphy was quick to point out: “We are approaching the first quarter of the season and this time last year we had 11 points and this season we have eight now with one game left so we are not too far off last season.
“It is just the manner of defeats we have suffered – like last weekend at Elgin.
“It was a quiet journey back that’s for sure and a long one.
“We lost an early goal to Kane Hester from a simple long ball and that player is flying right now. He was top scorer before our game then got four against us so he is way out in front.
“We need to make up for that against Stenny this weekend.
“It’s another tough game at their place and they have signed a couple of new players recently to boost their squad.
“We have a busy period coming up with midweek games and hopefully we will have some players back from injury to help us.
“And we have Cameron Williams back in training while Aiden Smith is still a bit away from a comeback, possibly about three weeks.”
