The Animal Crossing: New Horizons Update 3.0 is officially here. In fact, it arrived a day early, surprising all of us when it came out on Wednesday, January 14, instead of Thursday, January 15.
However, now with the release of the Nintendo Switch 2 Edition also out in the wild, all of the new Animal Crossing goods have been delivered. And trust us, there is a lot to explore here. The update delivers a whole host of new content, including a new hotel, quality-of-life adjustments, and a trilogy of slumber islands. Offering up improved resolutions, mouse controls, a new megaphone item, 12-player online multiplayer, and a few other additions, the Switch 2 game upgrade brings island life to Nintendo's new-gen console in style.
