Angry mob descend on Scottish street shouting 'beast' as riot police drafted in

Police wearing riot gear were forced to disperse a large mob after they turned out to protest against an alleged paedophile.

Officers were called to an address in Kirkcaldy, Fife, on Monday evening after the angry mob turned up and were forced to use riot shields to protect themselves.

Dramatic footage from the scene shows a huge police presence as people can be heard shouting "beast" and "get him out" with officers guarding the front entrance and a police van attempting to keep the group at bay.
