Angry Emmerdale fans slammed Kerry Wyatt's 'unrealistic' exit from the soap on Friday night.
Actress Laura Norton, who plays Kerry, has just given birth to her second child and is on maternity leave. To cover her exit, the Emmerdale character decided to leave the village after discovering her dead fiancé Al's affair.
While Kerry remains unaware that it was Chas Dingle who was cheating with her partner, Chas has been doing everything she can to keep it this way and prompted her to get away. As Kerry revealed she would be heading to work on a cruise ship with no reveal as to when she would return, fans took to social media to question the storyline.

Twitter user @Shannon_xoxo said: "A cruise ship paying £20k+ for less than a years work as well as bed and board.... somehow I don't see that being realistic #Emmerdale.
User @PLindrome said: "Kerry just left for a job which she hasn't had an interview for She's left £20k behind instead of reclaiming her loan from Al & Priya's company. When Al's family sort his affairs the house with #charitydingle will come out. #Emmerdale"
Another viewer said: "so that's how they're getting rid of Kerry, sending her to a cruise ship. Not having her go to prison for being a killer. Ridiculous yes, surprising no."
Despite Chas doing everything she can to keep her affair with Al under wraps, fans believe Kerry's daughter Chloe could be the key to unravelling her secret.
"Chas has to be found out and face the consequences of her actions, but she has a new headache... Chloe!," said one. While another shared: "Well Chloe is going to be the one who finds out it was Skanky Chas is a cheating witch while Kerry is away. The funny thing, Chas thinks she’s got away with it…"
And it seems viewers have worked out exactly when Chas will meet her downfall, theorizing that the scenes will occur in the explosive Christmas episodes. "Kerry leaving but then coming back for the secrets to be revealed at Christmas?," asked one user.
Another exclaimed: "Can't wait for Kerry to return so all hell can break lose and Chas can get her comeuppance."
