A shark bite was reported by two anglers in the North Coast on Saturday, it's understood.
The incident, in the Portrush area, was reported to the Coastguard by those involved.
The injuries are believed to be minor.

A spokesperson for the Northern Ireland Ambulance Service said the organisation was notified of an incident in Portrush involving two anglers.
The pair self-referred to hospital and ambulance assistance was not required.
