Texas Rangers reliever Aroldis Chapman has had a bounce-back season in 2023, which has seen him returning to the fireball-throwing lefty that terrorized hitters throughout the beginning of his career.
The latest proof of that came in Tuesday night’s victory over the Angels when he struck out Luis Rengifo with a 102-mph sinker that looked as unhittable as it sounds.
Chapman, who has been throwing nasty stuff like this all season, made this look way too easy once again. Just look at the movement at the very end of this and be thankful that you’ll never have to try to get a hit off him:

Rengifo's face. 😂 pic.twitter.com/HwhBTlLRuk
Rengifo's laugh after swinging and missing was just perfect, too, because really - what are you supposed to do with that pitch?
