Ange Postecoglou has added another coach to his new-look backroom staff at Tottenham Hotspur.
The Australian likes to put together a new coaching staff whenever he joins a club, in order to keep himself and his methods fresh as well as giving opportunities to young coaches. football.london broke the news on Sunday that following a conversation between the 57-year-old and Ryan Mason on Friday, the 32-year-old Spurs coach accepted the Australian's offer to remain at the club, despite interest from elsewhere, to be part of his team.
Now it is understood that Postecoglou's staff will also contain former Leicester and Celtic assistant manager Chris Davies.
The 38-year-old was linked with becoming the head coach of Swansea as well as joining his long-time collaborator Brendan Rodgers back at Celtic. However, it appears that the Watford-born coach will instead be heading to north London.
football.london understands Spurs also hold a strong interest in two of Davies' former players in James Maddison and Harvey Barnes, although club sources have continued to insist that talk of a bid is premature for the duo.

Postecoglou has also been linked with changing up his tradition by bringing his Celtic coaches John Kennedy and Gavin Strachan with him despite the intent of the Scottish club to keep them both. A move for another of his coaches at the Glasgow outfit, Harry Kewell, is not expected to be currently in the offing.
Tottenham have also been linked with bringing in long-time Carlo Ancelotti assistant Paul Clement, while there have also been suggestions that the highly-rated coach Matt Wells could remain with the club after his recent return.
The 34-year-old is the grandson of Tottenham legend Cliff Jones and assisted Mason during his recent interim spell having been a coach in the club's academy before joining Scott Parker on his managerial career. Parker has been linked with the manager's job at Leicester and if successful he could yet attempt to bring Wells with him.
