Martin O'Neill has delivered his prediction amid speculation linking Celtic manager Ange Postecoglou with a move to Tottenham.
The Aussie has been heavily linked with the Premier League outfit after reported target Arne Slot pledged his future to Feyenoord.
Postecoglou has now been installed as the bookies' favourite for the position, but O'Neill reckons a move to England is not in the works.
He told Sky: "Once you start becoming successful, then of course, almost inevitably things are going to come in your direction whether you like them or not. I love the football club here, when we won the treble to begin with, you're now into proper European football.
“You think we have got the Champions League to look forward to, so we had something really to look forward to immediately and that is fantastic. And then you hope as you have a love for the football club, you hope that the club loves you back.
“I think Ange has got that. I honestly do not know what he's thinking at this minute. I'm sure he’ll park things to the side, but the way he is talking, I think he would fancy another crack at the Champions League, you know the results they had last year, the experience that he got, there's nothing like it.
“I bet you walk out here and find out that Tottenham have made the offer! But this is my view.”
