Ange Postecoglou has told Celtic fans to expect more rollercoaster rides in the race for the title after a dramatic late win over Dundee.
Giorgos Giakoumakis struck late to complete his hat-trick and break the hearts of the Premiership's bottom side as they tried in vain to cling on for a 2-2 draw.
The result takes Celtic three points clear of Rangers at the league summit after the reigning champions stumbled to a draw at Dundee United earlier on Sunday.
And Postecoglou knows there will be more twists and turns to come with 11 matches remaining.
He told BBC Sportsound: "We've had to (come through adversity) all year and no doubt we'll have to continue to do that.
"It's going to be that sort of season, I've said that all along. Nothing will go smoothly this year, it's impossible for it to.
"We're trying to achieve what we're trying to achieve on the back of so many changes, there's going to be some ups and downs.
"Most of the time, the players have found a way through and they did again today."
Pre-match, the Celtic manager refused to be drawn into title mind games after Rangers dropped more points.
And although his side landed another blow on their rivals, Postecoglou again kept his cool.
Asked if the result he now thought it was a pivotal day, he replied: "No... because we were six points behind not long ago.
"Things change very quickly and what's important is during those times we've been behind we've focused on what we were doing and that's what we need to do.
"You saw that today. We played really well, dominated the game, but the result's not a given.
"In football, you've got to earn everything you get and we had to earn it today and I'm sure we'll have to earn everything else from here on."
