ANGE POSTECOLGOU refused to comment on the anti-monarchy chants and banner display from Celtic fans in Paisley.
Visiting supporters displayed a banner which read "If you hate the Royal Family, clap your hands".
And a number of the travelling supporters chanted the same words during a minute's silence ahead of the loss to St Mirren.
Paisley clubs chiefs earlier this week announced a minute's applause would be held to honour the Queen after her passing last week.
But loud chants from the Celtic support could be heard in the stadium and on live TV coverage of the match.
Following the 2-0 defeat, Celtic boss Postecoglou was quizzed on the fan chants and banner, but he immediately shut down the question as he referenced his previous comments.
Postecoglou said: "I think we spoke about it on Friday, mate."
The Celtic boss had urged fans to be respectful during the minute's applause as Celtic players and staff wore black armbands.
He said: "I have the same message to our fans that we always have. As I said before the game (against Shakhtar), we will abide by the protocols. We wore black armbands on Wednesday night.
"I think there's a minute's applause, we will abide by whatever obligations and responsibilities we have as a football club. We will do that in a respectful manner. We want our supporters to do the same."
