Brendan Rodgers could be set to make a sensational return to Celtic as Ange Postecoglou edges closer to a Premier League switch.
The Scottish giants have reportedly given their boss permission to talk to Spurs, as they look to bring in a new manager following Antonio Conte's departure last season.
Postecoglou is rumoured to have reached a "verbal" agreement with Tottenham on a two-year deal while sources close to the London outfit claim an announcement could be made within the next 48 hours.

Since arriving at Celtic in 2021, the Aussie has won five of the six domestic cups available.
He will now take on the task of a Tottenham rebuild after their calamitous Premier League campaign finished with them in eighth.
Rodgers, who left Leicester City last season, is one name linked with the vacancy at Parkhead, but would he take it?
Back in 2019, he spoke of having no hesitations about moving back to Glasgow one day. This was recorded mere months after his controversial move to the Foxes.
But whether he is accepted or not by punters is a question he couldn't answer.
Rodgers told Premier Sports: "When I left Liverpool I had opportunities to go elsewhere but I felt at that time at Celtic that it was a great opportunity to go in.
"The club were keen to bring me in and they were in a moment where Rangers were close - they were getting promoted - and I went in and created hopefully a really good base.
"That challenge may come again because it was a real challenge to go in and that challenge may come in the future and I would have absolutely no hesitation going back.
"Incredible club but like everything in life it's just about timing. Whether I would be received back or not is a different story.
"But would I go back to Celtic? Absolutely."
David Moyes, Steve Clarke and Scott Brown are some of the other names in the frame.
