Ange Postecoglou admitted he’s looking at targets to “round off our squad” as he praised his sizzling Celtic side for overcoming their Rugby Park hurdles to produce a five-star display against Scottish Premiership new-boys Kilmarnock.
The Parkhead boss was delighted with a spread of goals to continue a perfect start to the campaign as they leapfrogged rivals Rangers back to the top of the league table on goal difference. Kyogo, a Jota screamer, Moritz Jenz’s second in as many weeks and goals from substitutes Carl Starfelt and Giorgos Giakoumakis did the damage.
But Postecoglou is always striving to improve his champions squad and is still scouring the market for the quality additions who could do that. Speaking on BBC Scotland, the Hoops boss said: “We are probably looking at people to round off our squad. I still think if we can find a player or two who can play more than one position in the way we play I think that will help us. It's not in terms of a specific area, it's someone who will fit in with the group as well. We have a strong mentality within this group of players and anyone coming in has to have that as well."
