Ange Postecoglou responds to question over Celtic future next season amid Tottenham links

Ange Postecoglou has admitted 'he's loved every minute' at Celtic as he issued a response to questions over his future.

The Treble winning boss made history as he lifted the Scottish Cup giving his side a domestic clean sweep. Today's 3-1 triumph over Inverness at Hampden smashed world records with Celtic making it eight trebles and their fifth in just seven years. Speculation has been rife this week that the season finale at the national stadium will be his last game in Glasgow with English Premier League side Tottenham Hotspur honing in on making Postecoglou their new manager.

Following emotional celebrations at in the Hampden sunshine Postecoglou was quizzed on what comes next but he remained fully focussed on celebrating his trophy haul this campaign and declared he wanted to enjoy the moment after a long season that has ended in the perfect fashion for the Parkhead side

When asked by host Steven Thompson if he would be Celtic manager next season, he told BBC Sportscene: "I understand all that. I am going to be a little bit selfish here because not just myself, my family and the people around me have all worked really hard to enjoy this moment.

"As disappointing as that may be for people, that is what I am going to do.

"We've worked too hard as players and managers, if I again start talking about things that aren't really important right now to me and those around me.

"I am just enjoying this and will enjoy it for as long as I can before people drag me away to talk about other things."

Kyogo Furuhashi opened the scoring for Celtic on 38 minutes after a frustrating first half. They found their groove in the second period with Liel Abada doubling the Hoops lead. Inverness pulled one back through Daniel Mackay pulled one back but Jota responded to clinch the end of season showpiece.
