Ange Postecoglou laughed off suggestions Celtic 's performance levels have dropped in recent weeks after toiling to a goalless draw with Hibs.
The Premiership leaders passed up the opportunity to put further pressure on champions Rangers in second as they were held in a turgid affair at Easter Road.
Celtic kicked off 2022 in sparkling form, dismantling Rangers and Motherwell while also winning at Tynecastle and Pittodrie.
But, in between scraping past rock bottom Dundee, Postecoglou 's side were twice beaten by Bodo/Glimt to drop out of the Europa Conference League before Sunday's draw in Edinburgh.
The manager, however, says he was satisfied with his team's display and wouldn't entertain the notion there's been a drop-off.
Asked on Sportsound if he was happy that performances remained at the same level over the past two weeks, Postecoglou laughed: "Was that our first draw?
"I just said the performance was good...
"Absolutely (I'm happy the performances are at the same level)."
And the manager doubled down in his TV interview as he insisted on another day it would have been all three points for his side.
Speaking to Sky Sports: "Look, disappointed for the players who didn't get the rewards they deserved, I thought.
"Ultimately, we control the game at a difficult place to come, we couldn't get a goal we needed.
"They hung, towards the end we had a couple of chances but the ball didn't bounce our way when there's a lot of bodies in the box. it makes it difficult It made it difficult, the pitch is not great, all those sort of things.
"You need to be pretty precise, we just didn't get the bounce.
"We controlled the game, we played it in their half. Like I said, on another given day it would have been a different result"
