Celtic boss Ange Postecoglou warned his team won't shy away from their usual attacking mentality against Shakhtar Donetsk on Wednesday night.
The Hoops face the Ukrainian side in Poland looking to put Champions League points on the board after they fell short against Real Madrid at Celtic Park last weekend. In a group that also features defending champions Real and German side RB Leipzig, the Hoops know their two games against Shakhtar represent the best chance they will get of racking up some points to keep themselves competitive in Group F right until the end.
The Australian has been uncompromising in his attacking mentality since taking the reins at the start of last season and they almost bloodied the nose of Madrid last week, before a clinical second half performance from Los Blancos inflicted a 3-0 defeat. But bullish Postecoglou says it's done nothing to dent their confidence and warns "our football" is going nowhere.
Explaining that Carl Starfelt and James McCarthy are the only absentees for Celtic, he said: "Starfelt misses out and McCarthy wasn't well today so he didn't train today. Everyone else is OK.
"In terms of the game, every Champions League game is going to be tough. Every opposition will give us a challenge, and whatever it is out there tomorrow, we need to be ready to face it. However the game unfolds, we need to be ready to face it.
"Our confidence is the same as it was last week. We're only seven days on. We'll go out there tomorrow, try and play our football, and win at a level that we know is always going to be challenging."
