Ange Postecoglou says he's looking forward to watching some World Cup matches in his homeland - but work with Celtic will soon take precedence.
The Hoops are due to fly out to their manager's home nation of Australia for the Sydney Super Cup in November as the 2022 World Cup takes place in Qatar. Postecoglou has taken charge of the Socceroos on that stage before in 2014, but will get the chance to be home and watching some of their latest endeavours on via the comfort of his TV.
However, shortly thereafter he will quickly be getting his Celtic players not heading to the tournament ready for the Premiership's return, as he confirmed via radio station SEN that his team are going to Portugal for warm weather training. He said: “It’s probably the only time I’ll have (after the Sydney Super Cup matches) within the next sort of period to get down to Melbourne and visit friends. I’ve got about another week off after those games.

"So, I’m gonna come down to Melbourne and just catch up with people and watch the games on the telly. Then we head back.
"We’ll go back straight after that and go straight into camp in Portugal, and get ready for the second half of the year.
"With the World Cup being smack bang in the middle, it means the programme either side of it is super congested. Not just for us, for all football clubs. So, we’re gonna get ready to go again.”
