Andy Walker rinses Celtic conspiracy theory as fuming fan threatens to 'embarrass' pundit on air over Rangers claim

Andy Walker has been embroiled in a fiery radio debate with a caller after Monday's 2-2 derby draw between Celtic and Rangers.

Controversy has arisen after the match after Connor Goldson's arm made contact with the ball inside the penalty box while the game was at 2-1, following Ryan Kent and James Tavernier goals that cancelled out a Daizen Maeda opener for Celtic. The Rangers defender was deemed innocent by referee John Beaton after consultation with VAR official Willie Collum, and that's sparked conspiracy theories on the phone-ins. Kyogo Furuhashi's late leveller ensured Ange Postecoglou's champions stayed nine points clear in first.

Phoning Go Radio's Football Show, Hoops fan Frank from Maryhill was quick to point out the decision, but suggested there was corruption afoot in the Scottish game to Sky commentator and former Celtic man Walker. The latter wasn't having it and so sparked a back and forth debate that had to be cut off for an ad break as it threatened to rage on and on.
