Commentator Andy Walker has stated he won't cover Sky Sports games in Scotland for next season after 14 years with the broadcaster.
The move comes during a shake up of the coverage of the Scottish Premiership. Record Sport understands Chris Sutton will become an integral part of the Sky Sports coverage next season having been a regular on BT Sport and also for Viaplay in their cup shows when covering the game north of the border.
Sutton will join the team of former Scotland attackers James McFadden and Kris Boyd alongside presenter Eilidh Barbour, but it marks the end of an era with Walker's last game coming in the thrilling Premiership playoff victory for Ross County over Partick Thistle. The former Celtic star told the Go Radio Football Show : "That will be my last Sky game in Scotland. I’m hoping to retain all the English games that I do.
"But I’ve been there for 14 years and I’ve really enjoyed it. I know we get a bit of stick here and there but I think it’s a truly talented and hard-working team in Scotland.
"And I think whoever gets the gig, I hope they enjoy it as much as I have because it’s been an absolute blast. I’ve really loved it."
