ANDY Murray has poked fun at Donald Trump after the US president claimed cheating was taking place in a key battleground state.
Writing on his own social network, Truth Social, Trump – who has now declared victory in the election – said there was a “lot of talk of massive cheating in Philadelphia”.
The claims were strongly rejected by the county’s district attorney and the situation has been made more awkward by the fact that Trump won the state of Pennsylvania in the election.

And while he might not be the first political commentator that springs to mind, former Wimbledon champion Murray was quick to point to Trump’s hypocrisy.
He shared a video from US radio host Alex Jones, who repeated Trump’s claims and suggested Democrats had been “caught cheating all over the state”.
Jones also claimed that it could take “weeks to count the votes” although it is worth stressing once again that the result has already been decided.
In one of the stranger moments of this election, Murray re-shared the post along with some laughing emojis and the caption: “This hasn’t aged well.”
Maybe given his recent retirement, Murray could look for a new role in politics. After all, the Jouker knows we’d certainly rather have him running the show.
Trump has already declared victory in the election, telling supporters in Florida that he has won a “magnificent victory for the American people”.
