Andy Halliday lifts the lid on a career highlight at Bradford City that went from picking up a surprise man of the match award to missing out on a congratulations from Jose Mourinho.
And the 30-year-old may now be piling his trade at Hearts in the Scottish Premiership but Halliday insists a missed encounter with the iconic Portuguese boss still annoys him today.
Bradford City came from two goals down to win 4-2 to stun the then Premier League leaders at Stamford Bridge and book the most unlikely place in the FA Cup fifth round in January 2015.
"One of the most annoying things about that day was I got man of the match in the game and the press have grabbed me too early after the game", Halliday told BBC.
"Apparently Jose Mourinho went into the dressing room after the game to congratulate all of the boys, which I thought was obviously a real classy touch but I missed all that.
"I also missed an opportunity to maybe do a wee jersey swap with people as well because everyone managed to get in before me.
"But yeah, I look back with nothing but fond memories in terms of that day.
"It ended up us getting to the FA Cup semi final which was unbelievable for a League One side."
Halliday is relishing another huge cup clash on Saturday against Hibernian after he scored two goals when the sides met on league duty last weekend to sink the Leith club to the Premiership bottom six.
"It was big," he added.
"I know people are saying Hibs are not in good form but in derbies form goes out the window.
"I actually think my first goal was better than the second because of the angle.
"The second was quite lucky because it went through someone's legs."
