Ex-Manchester United striker Andy Cole has completed a 180 and said the Premier League title race is far from over after watching Liverpool close the gap at the top of the table to leaders Manchester City.
The Reds will reduce City's lead to a single point with victory over Arsenal on Wednesday. And with the top two still to meet at the Etihad Stadium next month, Liverpool will be aware of the significance of the game at the Emirates.
Like many others, Cole had given up hope of there being a title race this season and had named City, another of his former clubs, league champions. But having seen Pep Guardiola's team drop points to Crystal Palace on Monday night, and the form Jurgen Klopp's men have been in, he now believes there's a lot to play for at the top of the league.

“I do,” said Cole when asked if sees Liverpool having momentum. “I remember I said a few weeks ago, ‘it’s all over’. I thought Man City would run away with it.
“But, the way Liverpool have come back, the consistency, the way they play football and finish teams off. Even when they aren’t playing well, they are winning games. That’s what championship teams do."
City and Liverpool face each other in Manchester on April 10. Before then the Reds travel to Arsenal on Wednesday before welcoming Watford to Anfield on April 2. Win both of those games and they will be top before City return to Premier League action.
