Andy Carroll's fiancee Billi Mucklow will still go ahead with the pair's wedding despite the ex-Liverpool star's stag do antics.
Mucklow has been seen without her engagement ring after Carroll was reported to have passed out in bed with two other women after an all day boozing session on his stag do in Dubai. The former Liverpool and England striker had already jetted to Dubai to gatecrash his fiancée’s hen party.
The couple held crisis talks after a picture emerged of him bare-chested appearing to be asleep alongside Taylor Jane Wilkey, while reports claimed another woman, Phoebe Robb, had also been partying in Carroll's room. It is alleged that Carroll invited the pair up to continue the party in his hotel suite along with his friends.
Despite some of Mucklow's friends urging her to back out of the wedding, it is reported she will go through with the plans.
A source told The Sun : “Billi has been utterly humiliated by Andy but deep down she still loves him. A number of her friends and some of her family have said she should postpone the wedding but Billi’s mind is made up now. She has been doing a lot of soul-searching and has chosen to go ahead.
“The wedding is in just two days — everything is booked and their guests are all ready to go. She believes nothing happened in Dubai and just wants to put a brave face on it and move on. While not everyone thinks she is making the right decision, those who love her are supporting her in every way they can.”
Carroll popped the question in 2014 but his recent actions have not gone down well with his bride to be. His fiancee left their £5m Essex property and headed to her parents upon hearing the news. Wilkey insists nothing happen, referring to the footballer as a "gentleman" whilst also apologising to his fiancee.
She said: “I’m sorry, Billi, I know how it looks, but we didn’t have sex. She needs to know nothing sexual happened between me and Andy, I swear. He was a gentleman, he just had so much to drink and passed out on the bed. He didn’t try anything — and even if he had wanted to, he was too drunk.”
Carroll and Mucklow have two children together whilst the former Newcastle star also has two children from a previous relationship. The journeyman striker, now 33, was recently let go by Championship side West Bromwich Albion.
