ANDY Burnham has been warned that his stance against indyref2 is “a wee bit cheeky” after he said the UK public would be “the boss” as he sought to get a closer relationship with the EU.
The Prime Minister announced on Monday that he would seek to build closer ties with the trading bloc, as had his predecessor Keir Starmer, and vowed to follow a “pragmatic approach” in line with “public opinion”.
