The California-based company plans to construct a massive facility named 'Arsenal 1' on a 500-acre site near Rickenbacker International Airport in Pickaway County. This facility, spanning 5 million square feet, aims to create around 4,000 jobs in the region's growing high-tech sector.
Anduril Industries, known for its defense technology, intends to commence the construction of Arsenal 1 pending necessary state and local approvals. The facility is expected to become operational in July 2026, focusing on the production of military drones and autonomous air vehicles.
