Andrew Wiggins, have yourself a night!
On Monday, the Golden State Warriors took a 3-2 series lead on the Boston Celtics in the 2022 NBA Finals with a 104-94 Game 5 victory. While Steph Curry was held in check by the Celtics, Boston forgot to keep an eye on Wiggins, who was a thorn in his opponents side all evening long.
Just how good was Wiggins in Game 5? By game’s end, Wiggins had 26 points and 13 rebounds, going 12-23 in FG attempts as the Warriors’ MVP of the night. Wiggins was a huge factor in keeping the Warriors heads above water when the Celtics were pressing hard late in the game, keeping cool and calm under pressure.
Seriously, Wiggins was a beast out there all night for Golden State.
