Andrew Tate shares another cryptic Twitter update following arrest

Andrew Tate has shared another cryptic Twitter update following his arrest on suspicion of alleged human trafficking, rape and forming an organised crime group.

The controversial four-time world kickboxing champion will spend the next 30 days in a Romanian detention centre after being detained on Thursday, alongside his brother Tristan, following a raid on his luxury villa in Romania.

Tate, 36, has gone viral over the past 12 months after sharing videos expressing his views on women and money which have been branded both misogynistic and dangerous.

Two other people, who have yet to be named, were also arrested and questioned at a police station in Bucharest. It was confirmed on Friday that Tate would spend the next 30 days at a Romanian detention centre as the Directorate for Investigating Organised Crime and Terrorism (DIICOT) investigate him.

Reports in Romania claim that Tate and his brother, 34, are being questioned on suspicion of forming an organised crime group which used girls in adult videos.

Tate broke his silence following the arrest with a mysterious tweet on Friday. He tweeted: "The Matrix sent their agents", seemingly referring to his arrest and the popular film franchise, "The Matrix".

And Tate followed up by sharing another cryptic update in the early hours of Saturday morning. Just after midnight, Tate posted: "The Matrix will only tell you what the Matrix needs you to believe."

When approached for comment, a spokesperson for Tate told the Daily Mirror on Thursday night: "We cannot provide any details at the moment regarding alleged reports that they have been detained; however, Andrew and Tristan Tate have the utmost respect for the Romanian authorities and will always assist and help in any way they can."

Tate became the most searched man on Google this year after various videos from previous of podcast appearances talking about finances, women and lifestyle went viral. Tate's controversial views have garnered billions of views and led to criticism from various social media users.

Prior to his arrest, Tate was embroiled in a Twitter spat with climate activist Greta Thunberg. In a message sent to Thunberg on the social media platform, Tate wrote: "Hello @GretaThunberg. I have 33 cars. My Bugatti has a w16 8.0L quad turbo. My TWO Ferrari 812 competizione have 6.5L v12s. This is just the start.

"Please provide your email address so I can send a complete list of my car collection and their respective enormous emissions." But the Swedish activist, 19, brutally hit back by retorting: "Yes, please do enlighten me. email me at smalldickenergy@getalife.com."

Tate responded by posting a two-minute video once to Thunberg, in which he was handed two pizza boxes from Jerry's Pizza, a pizza restaurant in Bucharest.

The morning after his arrest, Thunberg tweeted: "This is what happens when you don’t recycle your pizza boxes." The post garnered more than two-and-a-half million likes in 12 hours.
